Overview
Dendro ("we," "us," or "our") operates dendroseo.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or submit an intake request, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We keep this simple.
Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit the intake form on our Apply page, you provide your name, email address, company name, and answers to questions about your content needs. We collect only what you submit — nothing more.
Usage data. When you visit our site, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use this only in aggregate to understand how the site is being used. We do not build individual profiles from this data.
Cookies. This site uses no tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics scripts by default. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit via the intake form to:
- Review your request and determine whether there's a fit
- Schedule and conduct an intake call with you
- Communicate about your project before, during, and after delivery
- Send project-related updates, files, and invoices
We do not use your information to send unsolicited marketing emails. If we send a follow-up after an intake call and you ask us not to, we won't.
How We Store and Protect Your Data
Intake form submissions are processed through our form provider (Netlify Forms or Formspree, depending on deployment) and stored in our internal project management system. We use reasonable technical precautions to protect this data. We retain intake information for as long as the client relationship is active or for up to 2 years after the last contact, whichever is shorter, unless required by law to retain it longer.
Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the business — for example, our form processing provider or email platform — solely for the purpose of delivering our services to you. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
This site may be hosted on Netlify or Cloudflare Pages. Their respective privacy policies govern how infrastructure-level data (such as request logs) is handled on their end.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to any legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent to communications at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address listed below. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
